Welcome to Bardeblog.com !

This blog is to provide the citizens of Storey County, Nevada with information as to what happens in the various public meetings held by or attended by our County government. It is limited to those meetings which I attend and to submitted articles by others who also attend these meetings. I will try and provide some background supported with links to the facts in the articles I write. The archives of all articles can be found by clicking on the tabs above. Meanwhile this isn’t a newspaper…there is no publication date and I’ll be posting real-time  probably once a week. If you are interested in getting an alert every time I post something go the tab you are interested in on the top of the HOME page and once you're on that page click on the "RSS" feed button to the right and subscribe. You will need to subscribe to every tab/section you have interest in getting notified on. Read more in ABOUT

The only item worth singling out is an Octoberfest Fundraiser to be held at Piper’s Opera House, Saturday, October 14th. This fundraiser will benefit cheer and sports teams at the high school and middle school.
